Ultimate Willards Kitchen Burger
With Willards Kitchen All Purpose Seasoning
4 8 oz burgers
Does it get any better than this? We ground our own meat with a Kitchenaid mixer grinding attachment...large grind. Make sure to form the patty only once as we don't want to play too much with the meat. This will keep it super succulent and tender. Adding the Willards Kitchen All Purpose Seasoning to both sides of the burger as well as on the grilled bun gives this dish insane flavor!
- 1 1/2 lbs ground chuck
- 1 baguette
- Olive oil
- 5-6 Tablespoons of Willards Kitchen All Purpose Seasoning
- 1 large tomato
- Guacamole (see recipe)
- Thin sliced sweet onion (like walla walla)
- 8 slices thick cut bacon
- Head of romaine lettuce
- Mayo/Mustard/ketchup (anything goes here)
- Cheese - to be honest, american is just awesome here, but its your choice. Double what you think you need :).
Directions (Step by Step)
- Heat grill to HOT, and oil up with tongs and a rolled up paper towel. Be Careful.
- Heat oven to 375 (convection is preferable if you have it).
- Prepare all ingredients and put in fridge on a plate (slice onion, tomato, clean lettuce, make guacamole). Cover with plastic wrap.
- Cook bacon in oven for about 15 minutes until desired crispness. drain on paper towel.
- Grilling Time...make patties and season with a healthy amount (about a tablespoon per burger) of Willards Kitchen All Purpose Seasoning on both sides.
- Season Baguette with a sprinkle of Willards Kitchen All Purpose Seasoning and olive oil. and slice into bun size.
- Place burgers on grill and close cover, rotate a quarter turn after 2 minutes to get nice diamond marking. After a total of 4 minutes, flip. Rotate a quarter turn after 2 more minutes. Add cheese to each burger.
- Grill each baguette till a nice golden brown.
- Assemble (I like to start with mayo and guacamole on the bottom bun, then the burger, then bacon, lettuce, tomato, onion then a little more mayo/ketchup/mustard).
- It is a little messy (yay!) so you might want to put a toothpick (or a skewer if it is too big) on both sides.
- Slice in half.
